I researched HVAC equipment and installers and concluded that the installation process was by far the most important component of a furnace/humidifier/filtration replacement. I interviewed and met with Ms. Amie Ross of Hudson Heating Company [HHC] at my home [Amie really knows her stuff!]. She was very informative about the equipment,options, and replacement process. She measured every room in the house and detailed several equipment and price options. I happily decided on an American Standard furnace, Honeywell humidifier, and air scrubber competitively priced. We scheduled the installation, and Amie took it upon herself to register our equipment for manufacturer warranty purposes to guarantee coverage. A week later Banjo, and a fleet of other technicians, were scheduled for the install/replacement , and did a fabulous and professional job! Started at around 8:30AM and completed by 3PM. Banjo went through the features of the equipment and maintenance schedules with me. Being that picking the installer/contractor is the most important facet of the replacement process, HHC was the perfect professional selection for the job! Great experience with Hudson Heating Company! A+++++++

As a resident of Hudson for many years now, I have been very pleased with the service provided by Hudson Heating Company. I have had my main AC/furnace system replaced and installed (Trane) by HHC about 2 years ago and been very pleased to date. I have had several routine seasonal cleaning/maintenance service calls to date. I recently had a motor/capacitor replaced on my secondary 2004 Trane A/C unit and it went smoothly. HHC may not be the cheapest game in the area but I believe fairly priced and with very good service standards. Staff and ownership have always been professional, knowledgeable, courteous and patient with answering questions and explaining what they were doing. Keep up the good work. Highly recommend.

We have utilized their talents for years, new furnaces , services for AC’s which brings me to this review. Yesterday it was90*+ and we run a B&B and had a full house- the first floor unit was not cooling sufficiently and I flew into panic mode. Called Austin and even tho it was Saturday came within a half Hour AND fixed it - some part he had on the truck and the guests did not whine! Love this place. Very reliable AND talented.

There were a few hic-ups with installation. The A/C was on when the men left, but about ½ hour later the A/C was no longer working. A workman came back to see why. Back up in the attic, the workman found that American Standard had left out a part in the air handler which caused the unit to quit. The workman told me he had a part in his truck and installed it. I have no way of knowing it the A/C will work because we now have a cold front for a week or so. But the Honeywell Wi/Fi thermostat is working and I was able to set that up myself. When the men installed the air handler in the attic, a piece of the ceiling in the hall was broken and the workman told me he could not fix it. I was surprised to see that the A/C unit has no top cover as my Trane did. Amy told me that I could get a cover for an additional $600+. At this time I purchased a mesh cover which will do for mine till I see that the unit is problem free. I live in the woods with lots of leaves and debris flying about. Don't want that in the unit. The workmen arrived on time and were very pleasant and polite and finished the job quickly. My experience calling the shop has been very nice to deal with employees. I hope we can have a good relationship with service over the years.

5 stars for Hudson Heating Company! Our A/C stopped working in Sept. 2018, and our furnace was 27 years old. Buying both a new central air unit, and heating unit for one's home is a big investment that I put hours of research into. I learned that when a company consultant comes out to your home they should go room to room to calculate which unit would be best suited for the size and needs of your home. I also learned it is a good idea to get 3 different company estimates. So we had 3 companies come out to give us estimates. Amie from Hudson Heating Company was the only one who did the room to room calculation correctly. ( The men from the other companies just looked around and did not measure the rooms. ) Amie was thorough and accurate, and took the most time with us. We never felt rushed, and she was great at answering all our questions. A rep from a different company, took out our furnace filter, and then the cover off our furnace. He left without putting the cover back on, and my husband noticed that he had put our furnace filter in backwards! Good thing it was a warm fall day and the A/C was on, and not the furnace! Needless to say we crossed that other company off our list of possibilities! I chose Hudson Heating company as one of our 3 companies to look at in the first place, based on the great reviews and on the review of Amie their comfort consultant, and because I wanted the Trane product, which is what they use. My husband and I felt the most comfortable with Hudson heating, and so we chose them. Amie made a big impression on us. Both on the phone and when she came out to meet us, Amie was so professional. She gets an A+ in customer service! She answered all our questions, really listened to us, and helped us come up with the best plan for our needs. She helped us with the rebate, and the Trane warranty, and so many details that made the whole process easier. We have only good things to say about Hudson Heating from Stephanie who answered the phone, to consultant "A+ Amie," and the professional installers that came on time, and were efficient, polite, cleaned up well, talked us through the new thermostat, humidifier, and care of our new units. Amie also invited us to call if we had any further questions or concerns. We have been comfortable all winter long with the Trane Furnace & humidifier ( air is a lot less dry) and comfortable last Fall when it was 90 degrees on October 8th and the new A/C was working great! We are happy we chose Hudson Heating Company.

We were in need of a complete system replacement for our 23 year-old home. Amie & Banjo helped us make a well-informed decision to convert to gas/electric from an all electric configuration. Our job had multiple zones, furnaces & condensers making it more complex than usual. This team saw us through to the end, were quick, responsive and thorough, making sure we were completely satisfied with the comfort of our home and confident in how to best use our new programmable thermostats, a high-tech upgrade from our previous system. After using another furnace company for over 15 years (and we really liked them) when we were told our 18+ year-old furnace needed replacing, we thought it best to get a few quotes before making a decision. We called Hudson Heating because they are locally-owned and recommended by Trane. Joe came out very soon after our call, appreciating that we were trying to replace before the old one broke down. We inquired about a high-efficiency unit, after another company told us it would be a big deal and extra money to go with the high-efficiency units. Joe said this wasn’t true for them and he quoted the units including the installation costs. His quote came in considerably less than the company we previously used. I called and asked some questions and talked to Amy who took a lot of time to answer my concerns. We decided to go with Hudson Heating and they came out quickly and installed the new furnace and new air conditioning unit. Austin and Banjo were very professional and thorough, explaining the new system and thermostat. They were also very patient as our dogs barked at them the whole time. They got the job a bit quicker than anticipated. As they did not start up the new A/C unit at installation because it was February, they said they would call us in the spring to arrange the start-up. They were true to their word, as Jodi called us and made an appointment to have someone get the A/C start up finished by the end of April. Austin came out and in less than an hour had the unit going. My experience with Hudson Heating is that they were quick, knowledgeable, professional and very reasonable on the cost. I would highly recommend them.
